Avit Mechanik machines large castings, forgings and fabrications for hydropower, earthmoving, cement, steel and machine-building customers. CNC boring, 5-axis CNC milling and CNC vertical turning in one high-bay hall served by 25 t and 15 t cranes. With our group’s fabrication plant in Rajkot, we also deliver complete welded and machined components.

Send one drawing for a welded and machined component. The group cuts, forms and welds it in Rajkot and machines it in Ahmedabad, with one contact and one delivery date.
Who we are
We take on the components other shops can’t lift, fixture or reach: housings, frames, platens, rings, Pelton runners and die plates, from the first cut to the final bore.
Our works at Swastik Industrial Park, Kuha, sits on the Indore highway east of Ahmedabad. A 25 t and a 15 t overhead crane serve the hall, so parts move between the CNC boring machines, the double-column machining centre and the CNC vertical lathes without leaving the building. We can also source the casting, forging or fabrication for you and deliver the machined part.
Avit is part of a group with its own fabrication plant in Rajkot and a sales office in Europe, so a welded structure can be cut, welded and machined within the group.
Machining · Ahmedabad
CNC horizontal boring, 5-axis CNC gantry milling and CNC vertical turning, each on several machines so a job does not wait for a single spindle. Every machine carries its shop code on the floor and on our job cards. Tap a photo to enlarge it.
CNC boring, facing, drilling, tapping and threading, with universal heads and facing heads. Spindles Ø110 to Ø150 mm, tables up to 18 t.
5-axis milling of plates, platens, machine beds, die and mould plates up to 7250 × 3500 mm and 30 t.
Turning, facing, grooving and tapers on rings, sleeves, hubs, flanges and Pelton runners up to Ø2500 mm and 2000 mm high.
Fabrication · Rajkot
Our group runs its own fabrication plant in Rajkot. Steel coil and plates are cut, formed and welded there, then machined at Avit in Ahmedabad, so you get a complete component from one group: from steel coil and plates to finished bore, thread and face.

Quality
Large parts are expensive to scrap and slow to replace. We plan each job so errors are caught at the machine, not at your gate.
Certifications
Avit is implementing three ISO management systems in 2026, with an external consultant and a third-party certification body.
Customer supplier audits are welcome at our Kuha works. Certificates will be published here once issued.
